For over 40 years we have provided food, clothing, social services to the miskeen. Those persons who are generally forgotten and over looked in our every day lives. Only to be remembered when we “need blessings”. However, in recent years our support has drastically decreased which has severely hindered our ability to provide the services desperately needed by our Muslim brothers and sisters. These services are a collective responsibility upon the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (sallahi alaikum was salaam).
Please join me as we discuss the legacy of this work in our communities and remind ourselves of its importance and impact.

Right now, women, children, and families in crisis are turning to Muslimat Al Nisaa Shelter for warmth, safety, and dignity. The need has grown sharply this winter. More people are arriving with nothing but the clothes on their backs. More mothers are seeking refuge. More elders are braving the cold without food or shelter. Every day, we attempt to stretch our resources to meet their urgent needs.
