"Prevention is key" ✨ And across Upbring programs, it's one of the many ways we work to advance child wellbeing.

One way we approach prevention is through our Child Wellbeing Zones, where families can access support shaped around their unique needs—including stable housing, food, clothing, mental health services, parenting support, and more.

Watch Karen Tan, SVP of Community Engagement, share how this place-based approach is helping strengthen families by addressing barriers early so children can remain safely at home whenever possible.

🧠 Children's mental health matters!

Even the youngest children need support as they learn to navigate big emotions, relationships and the world around them. In fact, it's foundational to their overall development.

This National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day, our Mental Health Director Kiana shares how Upbring Head Start partners with mental health professionals, teachers, family advocates and parents to support children's social and emotional needs.

Inside Upbring's Child Wellbeing Zones, local partners come together to strengthen the community, starting with the heart of it:

The families within it ✨

While we continue to support children through intervention, our place-based prevention model focuses on stabilizing entire neighborhoods so families can stay safe, strong and together—helping prevent children from entering the system in the first place.

Grateful for Harvest Family Life Ministries and the many partners working alongside us to support families and build healthier, more resilient communities.
