TCDD is happy to welcome SALSA to our Council Meeting in San Antonio today. Ameen Al-Bahloly, SALSA president, is presenting with Gwenda Taggart on SALSA's activities and goals as a local self-advocacy organization.

This isn't the first time TCDD has connected with Ameen! He is a graduate of our Texas Partners in Policymaking Program. We are proud to see the excellent work he and SALSA are doing for people with disabilities in San Antonio.

About SALSA: The San Antonio League of Self Advocates (SALSA) is the San Antonio chapter of Texas Advocates. Texas Advocates is recognized as the leader in self-advocacy for Texans with DD.
