💖Kicking off the weekend by shopping for lots of bags for newly diagnosed children and teens in the Austin area. We love to include our children in the work we do- a way for them to remember their brother, Phoenix, along with learning how to serve others.

🩵Four more BMT Support Bags delivered to children undergoing bone marrow transplants at Methodist Children’s Hospital this weekend. Each bag is personalized and includes items such as clothes, pajamas, blankets, gift cards, toys, books, and art supplies.

Our hope is that receiving the bag will bring a bit of joy during an extremely difficult part of treatment. Thank you to all of our supporters for making this program possible.

What a joy to receive the check today and for the opportunity to speak a few words about Phoenix, the work we do in his honor, and the way we use the funds from the Lions Club to support our programs.

If you are in the central Texas area, make sure to come enjoy the river this summer with the Lions Club tube rentals! Proceeds from tube rentals come directly to organizations like ours in the area.
