A Silent Hero

But he hides it often as he continues to bravely walk tall.
He is often the silent hero in his child’s hospital story,
He works while he worries with no need for any glory.
Your wins make him beam,
While his shoulder in sadness becomes a safe place to lean.
Fatherhood is a gift for all,
With no job being too small.
When you think we don’t see you,
