ADRN WEATHER UPDATE | MONITORING
ADRN is actively Monitoring the growing threat of heavy rain and flash flooding across Central Texas and the Hill Country.
The National Weather Service has identified a Level 3 of 4 risk for excessive rainfall and flash flooding in portions of our region. Heavy rainfall is expected Wednesday through Friday, with the greatest threat initially across the Edwards Plateau and Hill Country before expanding eastward. Storm totals of 2–4 inches are expected, with isolated amounts up to 8 inches possible.
Now is the time to prepare and stay weather aware:
• Have multiple ways to receive weather warnings, especially overnight.
• Charge phones and backup batteries.
• Review your family's emergency and evacuation plan.
• Keep medications, important documents, water, and essential supplies accessible.
• Avoid camping near creeks, rivers, and low-lying areas.
• Never drive through flooded roadways. Turn Around, Don't Drown.
• Check on neighbors and loved ones who may need help preparing.
ADRN remains in the Monitoring phase and is staying connected with emergency management and response partners as conditions develop.
