Today, Finding Courage in Cabin 5 is officially out in the world! 📖🪁

Written by our Chief Experience Officer, Dan Mathews, this memoir is about camp, fatherhood, community, and the people who teach us what it truly means to belong.

For more than 30 years, Dan has worked alongside children and families navigating illness, disability, and other life challenges. Along the way, he discovered something unexpected: the people he set out to serve often became the people who taught him the most.

These are stories of hope and loss, frustration and connection—and a reminder that small moments of belonging can change us in ways that last far beyond our time at camp.

We’re so proud to celebrate this milestone with Dan and excited to help share his story with the world.

Our beloved Presidential Fellows, Markis and Aniston, are soaring off to new heights this fall! 🪁

Markis and Aniston each made an incredible impact on CTL campers, Camp Partners, volunteers, families, and staff during their fellowships. Their commitment, passion, energy, empathy, and professionalism are never-ending.

We are so grateful to have had these two bright lights on our team, and can’t wait to see the heights that they continue to reach.

Please join us in sharing appreciation for all that Markis and Aniston have done for the Camp Twin Lakes community! 🧡💙💛
