"Take me out to the ballgame," or at least get us to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Monday, October 5 for a Field Trip performance of Synchronicity Theatre's CATCHING THE MOON, a blues-infused musical based on the young Toni Stone. We're so excited to share this story celebrating the power of determination, the thrill of the game, and the courage it takes to change it forever. You can register at the link in our bio, and we will see you Monday!

Our Artrageous field trip at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre yesterday was one to remember! Full audience participation with students (and teachers!) dancing, singing, and helping to create artwork to talk about. We hosted another fantastic Coffee Connections conversation with the artists prior to the performance, moderated by ArtsBridge Executive Director, Thomas Fowlkes. With the help of both our generous volunteers and sponsors (VyStar Credit Union & Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta) we prepared Snack Packs for every student in attendance. AND due to the generosity of our staff at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Cobb Convention Center Atlanta, and ArtsBridge, every school in attendance left with Arts Supplies kits. It was a special day! Art is a conversation, to interact with, and it can save lives. An impactful start to our Season of Impact, indeed. Thank you to everyone involved.

If you are interested, join us Monday morning on October 5 for another Coffee Connections event followed by a performance of CATCHING THE MOON: THE STORY OF A YOUNG BASEBALL GIRL'S DREAM from Synchronicity Theatre. Details for each are at the links in our bio. See you again, soon, Atlanta!

"Research in education has shown that we remember field trips long into adulthood." -Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Every school year, we offer field trip opportunities that are financially accessible to all schools, coming from 20 different school districts in the state of Georgia. We believe it is crucial for every child to get the opportunity to experience the arts in a live performance setting. Education through the Arts accelerates creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.

Our Season of Impact is nearly underway. Subsidies are available. More details at the link in our bio.

Were you a theatre kid and do you miss it? Did you see the theatre kids having fun, and look back sort of wishing you had auditioned for the musical in high school? Maybe you are completely happy with life right now, but are looking to volunteer some time towards a good cause? Whatever your motivation, if this idea excites you, we invite you to explore becoming a Shuler Awards judge this season.

What does that mean exactly? Lucky for you, there is an informational flyer at the link in our bio. If you still find yourself interested and choose to align with the call, that application can also be found at the same link. (The portal closes on September 30!) Reach out if you have any questions, and we look forward to sharing the magic of musical theatre with you.
