A rejection from one employer does not mean you are not valuable or capable of making a powerful impact somewhere else.

Adversity in a personal relationship does not mean you are unworthy of the time, energy, and care it takes to make things work.

In your darkest moments, remember this:
You are brilliant.
You are talented.
You are phenomenal.

We’ve all had those moments where life seems to change direction without our permission. Sometimes, the pain we carry isn't loud—it just sits quietly in the background, shaping our decisions, relationships, and confidence.

But what if that pain isn't the end of your story? What if it's the beginning of your purpose? 🌱

We are so honored to share a beautiful guest feature submitted by Angelique Mercurio of Angel’s Friendly Coaching. In this piece, she explores how hardship teaches us what comfort never could. It’s easy to feel isolated when life gets heavy, but pain isn't weakness. It's awareness.

If you are walking through a difficult season right now, please hear this: You are not broken. You are not behind. You are becoming. ✨

Take a quiet moment for yourself today and read Angelique's full featured post on how to transform your hardest seasons into deep, meaningful purpose.

✨ May is Mental Health Awareness Month! ✨

This year, we are stepping into our power with the theme: "Turning Pain into Purpose." We know the reality. For the disability community, constantly navigating inaccessible physical and digital spaces—or facing closed doors in the job market—carries a heavy emotional weight. That frustration is real, and that pain is valid.

But here's what else is real: Our resilience. 💪 We have the power to transform those daily barriers into fuel for change. By channeling our experiences into advocacy and action, we change our own lives and break down walls for our entire community.

Let's lift each other up on this journey of empowerment! Drop a 💙 in the comments if you're ready to turn pain into purpose with us.

Today, we recognize Anne McQuade. She is president of the American Association of the DeafBlind and former president of DeafBlind Access of the South.

Anne has organized countless educational, social and advocacy initiatives to increase DeafBlind participation and raise awareness about community needs. Her work is important because DeafBlind individuals are still one of the most overlooked populations, and services for them are not always consistent or accessible. Anne is committed to changing that by pushing for better services, stronger systems, and greater inclusion for the DeafBlind community.

We are motivated by the impact she is making in our community, and it reminds us of something so true: She is powerful.
