Cartersville Service League

Cartersville Service League We are an organization of women committed to the social, economic, cultural and civic conditions of the Bartow County community.

Cartersville Service League is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. In past years, with the help from gracious and generous donors, we have been able to distribute a substantial amount of funds to various organizations within our county. The following is just a handful of examples of the support that we have been able to give to the organizations that need our help:

· Bartow Collaborative (Give a

Kid a Chance) Sponsored 150 children with backpacks,
t-shirts and school supplies.
· Bartow County Teacher Grant Program Supported grants for teachers in our community.
· Boys & Girls Club of Bartow County We were able to help substantially with supplies, staffing and operation costs, along with our volunteer hours that we contribute each week.
· Bartow County Library System Helped to fund the Summer Reading and Outreach Programs.
· Cartersville Medical Center Funded uniform shirts and graduation dinner.
· Etowah Foundation Gave eight (8) $1,000 college scholarships to some of our community’s high school graduates.
· Hands of Christ Funded various programs, including summer activities and experimental learning. Purchased desks for three classrooms at First Presbyterian.
· Juvenile Court of Bartow County Assisted DFCS families with specific needs.
· Steps of Faith Helped to fund classes/costumes/camps for special needs children.
· Special Olympics of Bartow County Purchased t-shirts for the athletes and buddies.
· Tranquility House Funded the replacement of the new Security Gate.
· Winshape Camps for Communities Funded scholarships for 5 children to attend camp.
