Did you know Advocates for Children partners with Safe Place locations in 9 different northwest Georgia counties? Advocates for Children provides youth in crisis with timely assistance through the national safety net program Safe Place. We are working together with 167 partner sites and 11 mobile sites to keep kids safe!

Have you ever seen a Safe Place sign and wondered what it means to be a Safe Place?

Advocates for Children provides youth in crisis with timely assistance through the national safety net program Safe Place. Local schools, churches, fire stations, police departments, and other community businesses and organizations are committed Safe Place site partners trained in making referrals to the RHYP and assessing immediate needs of a youth in crisis. Safe Place sites are located throughout the Advocate’s service communities and are easily identifiable by the diamond shaped black and yellow logo.

What a fun night at the 10th Annual Fall Festival! It was so fun seeing everyone costumes and even more exciting to know how many youth in Bartow county know about Safe Place. Thank you Bartow County Parks and Recreation for having us again this year.

Thank you for having us Euharlee, Georgia for your annual Covered Bridge festival. What a great turn out, we gave out candy and information to over 600 youth. Can’t wait for next year!
