Georgia LAST

Georgia LAST The Georgia Fallen Firefighters Foundation was born out of the Georgia Local Assistance State Team (L.A.S.T.). While many states have traditional L.A.S.T.

teams, Georgia's team had expanded beyond the traditional teams service capabilities in the provision of services to departments and families who have suffered a LODD. Officially beginning business December 1, 2011 the foundation was formed by three of the Georgia L.A.S.T. original founding members; Dennis Thayer, Ronnie Payne and David Bradley.

This is a phenomenal training opportunity for all disciplines in public safety, not just the fire service. We highly recommend this to everyone! ❤️🚒🖤

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is aware of the serious incident at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont, Maine, and is closely monitoring the situation as additional information becomes available.

Our thoughts are with all those affected, their families and loved ones, the employees of Robbins Lumber, and the firefighters, emergency medical personnel, law enforcement officers and other first responders who have been working under extraordinarily difficult conditions.

We are grateful for the coordinated efforts of local, state and federal agencies and stand ready to support the fire service community as appropriate.
