Eco Sneakers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping shoes and textiles out of landfills while creating practical products and educational tools that benefit children, families, and communities. The ECO SNEAKERS program was developed out of a need identified to help offset costs associated with various organizational development needs of non-profits. In economically challenged regions, breaking free from poverty proves challenging due to a scarcity of sustainable employment opportunities. Eco Sneakers collaborates with exporters to market a portion of its footwear internationally. This initiative aims to empower individuals to initiate and expand businesses focused on selling donated shoes and clothing. Additionally, it assists us in optimizing our distribution and logistics processes.

EXPOSURE CHANGES EVERYTHING! 🏀🌱👟

Eco Sneakers is proud to give our interns opportunities that go beyond the classroom. This week, they had the opportunity to tour Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional sports.

For us, internships aren’t just about giving young people something to do — they’re about putting them in rooms, places and conversations that can change the direction of their lives.

Today they may be touring the arena. Tomorrow, they could be working in it, leading in it, or helping make professional sports more sustainable.

That’s what exposure can do.

We’re proud of our Eco Sneakers interns — and we’re just getting started. 💚

This week, we're excited to join thousands of runners, volunteers, and supporters as the official theme for the 57th running of the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race—"Peachtree Unites"—brings our community together.

The theme celebrates the power of people coming together across causes, communities, and shared purpose. It couldn't come at a better time as our nation approaches America's 250th Anniversary and Atlanta continues its journey toward welcoming the world for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

At Eco Sneakers, we're building on that spirit by launching Eco Sneakers Unites Every Sole™.

We're excited to partner with The Shoeless Ones and the Mayor's Office of One Atlanta for a day of soccer, community, and giving back. Bring your new or gently used athletic shoes to help local youth and families while supporting a more sustainable Atlanta. Every pair has a purpose—wearable shoes stay in the community, and non-wearable shoes are responsibly recycled.
