September 28th marked a beautiful milestone as members of our Board had the opportunity to meet with our new Consul General, Mme. Guy-Nicole Lafontant, and officially welcome her to Georgia.

It was a meaningful opportunity to begin laying the foundation for how we can continue to work together and strengthen the relationship between the Consulate and our Chamber.

One of my biggest takeaways was learning that Mme. Lafontant previously served as President of the Franco-Haitian Chamber of Commerce in Haiti. Her experience within the chamber community makes this new chapter particularly meaningful, and gives us even more reason to look forward to deepening the strong relationship we already have with the Consulate.

A sincere thank you to the Board members who made the time and sacrifice to be present, participate, and help make this meeting possible. Your commitment continues to make a difference.
