Community and family probably aren't the first things that come to mind when someone asks you what you think about professional associations; but for financial advisors, being a member of NAIFA means being a part of the NAIFA family, and that is everything when it comes to maximizing on your potential as a professional. NAIFA members don't embark on their career treks in isolation. For new and young advisors, NAIFA's mentor program provides direct access to other members with various degrees of experience and diversified arrays of expertise. They mentors not by virtue of being seasoned NAIFA members. Rather, they are mentors via intentionality. They purposefully offer their time and knowledge as officially designated mentors because they care about paying it forward to the next generation of financial professionals and contributing to the uplifting of the profession as a whole.

Plus, access to mentors impacts success.
