Last night, the Onslow Quintet had the honor of performing at Mayor Andre Dickens’s signature event, "The Dream", supporting the Mayor's Youth Scholarship Program. It was such a beautiful evening celebrating with our city's changemakers who invest in the future of Atlanta's youth! 🎵✨

🎻 Big congratulations to violinist Tristan Lewis (Summer Intensive 2024 and Fall Into Spring 2025–26), who just won 1st place in the Musicians Union John Head Scholarship Competition! 🎉

This fall, Tristan is heading to Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music, where he will study with Sergiu Schwartz.

Tristan graduated from Collins Hill High School and studied with Bob Anemone under the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Talent Development Program.

Join us in wishing Tristan all the best as he takes this exciting next step! 🎶👏

What an unforgettable way to close out our season! 🎶✨

Our Summer Finale Showcase was truly magical from start to finish. We are SO proud of our students, who have worked incredibly hard all summer! 👏

The afternoon held an extra special surprise: a heartfelt retirement tribute to our very own Founder & Artistic Director, Ronda Respess! Ginny orchestrated an absolutely beautiful moment, gathering our faculty, some of Ronda’s professional friends, and students to perform a movement of Haydn’s Farewell Symphony.

True to tradition, musicians slowly left the stage one by one until only two remained, bidding a fond "goodbye" to celebrate Ronda's incredible legacy.
