Meet Our PAR-TEE Golf Outing Event Co-Chair: Katherine Allen

Katherine brings energy, heart, and a strong sense of purpose to this year’s PAR-TEE Golf Outing.

Katherine first learned about ToolBank through Jimmy Mayer at Stanley Black & Decker, and the mission clicked with her right away. Service has been part of her life since childhood, thanks to years of volunteering with National Charity League and community partners like Habitat for Humanity.

Katherine is passionate about community connection, strong partnerships, and elevating women in the trades. She shows up with intention and makes a real difference.

A few quick personal notes: she’s been in Atlanta for five years, she has a six-year-old English chocolate lab named Jasper, and she’s happiest on the course with a driver; her least favorite club is her putter.

We’re grateful to have her leadership shaping this year’s event!

ToolRush! This Saturday, 10/4. 9am-3pm. ToolBank.

What is ToolRUSH? Great question. We’re fortunate to receive thousands of in-kind donations of tools and resources from major corporations and individuals alike year-round. While we love being an outlet for surplus goods, not all of these tools can go into our lending inventory. So once a year we host our ToolRush sale open to the public. Tools are sold at a deeply discounted rate and all proceeds go directly back into supporting our mission.

So come shop and enjoy - your retail therapy is our empowerment!

So if you’re looking for purpose-driven, kindness-based, and major-impact work…come join us!💪

We’d love for you to have a little tool knowledge but we’re prioritizing coachability, willingness to learn, and customer service mentalities. You’d be client-facing in our warehouse handling member orders, pickups, returns, and general facility organization. Hourly starts at $20/hr with room to grow and flexible shifts.

No undergrad degree required but a certain razzle dazzle preferred!
