The Northern District Dental Society and the Greater Atlanta Dental Foundation hosted the 2026 "Southern Grace & Smiles" Gala for Smiles on Saturday. This event raises funds to support dental nonprofits in the Greater Atlanta area. This year DDD Foundation was the spotlighted nonprofit! We had great representation including several of our staff members and board members, and the mother of one of our patients spoke about how the DDD Foundation has helped her son.

Happy National Nonprofit Day 2026! The DDD Foundation provides accessible, comprehensive dental care to more than 5,100 patients with developmental disabilities. It costs much more to provide this level of care than we receive in Medicaid and insurance reimbursements. We rely on donations to close that gap. We received the cutest photos this morning! This is a great example of the warm family environment our patients feel when they come to the DDD Foundation. A man who has been a patient here for 21 years just celebrated his 40th birthday, and these are the party decorations and cookies he wanted because coming to the dentist is his favorite thing! 😍
