Excitement is building for the 2026 Professionalizing Law Enforcement–Community Engagement Training (PLECET) National Conference.

From May 27–31, 2026, community-focused law enforcement professionals will convene in Dallas, Texas from across all 50 states — representing every agency type — to strengthen the future of engagement, trust, and public safety.

MovementForward, Inc. and Faith & Blue are pleased to share details regarding the 2026 Professionalizing Law Enforcement–Community Engagement Training (PLECET) National Conference, taking place May 27–31, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

PLECET is the nation’s only annual conference dedicated entirely to professionalizing community engagement within law enforcement — bringing together sworn and professional public safety personnel assigned to community policing, outreach, engagement, public information, and community affairs from agencies across all 50 states.

Since launching PLECET in 2023, MFI — in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice, all major national law enforcement associations, and our corporate and foundation partners — has worked diligently to elevate this critical function through specialized training, peer learning, and professional development grounded in evidence, practice, and results.

In 2020, National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) was only a vision. Today, it has grown into one of the largest police–community engagement efforts in American history, thanks to the steadfast support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation and the partnership of every major national and state law enforcement association in the country.

This weekend, thousands of Faith & Blue activities will take place in all 50 states.
