Low cost vaccine clinic is TODAY 8/16!

We are hosting a low-cost pet vaccine clinic on Sunday, August 16 from 2-4 PM at Barrow County Animal Control in Winder. We will also offer microchipping for dogs and cats. All dogs and cats at least six weeks of age are welcome; Barrow county residency is not required. Payment must be made in cash. PLEASE NOTE — if your pet cannot maintain decorum in line around other people and pets and be easily handled by our veterinary staff, we will unfortunately be unable to serve you.

This is an indoor event so don’t let the threat of rain prevent you from coming.

Need a little help feeding your pets this month? Swing by our shelter this Saturday between 9AM–1PM to pick up free pet food, toys, or litter from our Full Bellies Pet Pantry! Just drive around to the back of our facility and look for the garage!

Free pet food in Commerce tomorrow!

Our "Helping Hands, Healing Paws' team will be at Commerce tomorrow at 631 S Elm St.
Our mission is to give pet food and supplies to folks in need so that they dont have to surrender their pets to the shelter just because they can't afford to feed them.
So far, we have helped thousands upon thousands of families in this way, and if you need our help, we would be delighted to help you too.
Just come along at 7am and let us bless you with food or supplies for your dogs and cats.
We stand proudly beside iServe Ministries at this location. They provide food for human families in crisis so please, if you need help, make it a priority to come see us both.
Let us help, there are no forms to fill in, no judgement, no ID to show.
We just know that times are tough and a little helping hand goes a long way.....

UPDATE: This breaks last year's record on the number of days it took to spend the $3,000. It's gone. If you have contacted us, please know that we will continue to work with you but you will need to go on a waiting list until we can get more funds in the door.
