Last year, was BEYOND BLESSED! 😮‍💨

With a year of abundance ahead, we’re trusting that God will enlarge our territory as our impact grows & our reach expands to unforgettable girls across the globe. 🌎

This past year, we impacted students, families, individuals, and households in the greater Atlanta Metropolitain area. 🌇

Our impact strategy has allowed us to purposefully work towards initiatives and programs like College 4 the Real Girl, She’s Home: The Block Party, Her Homecoming Summer Camp, Always Accepted, Never Rejected, and so much more! ✨

This is how we directly serve adopted and fostered girls, declaring dominion over their stories and depositing reminders of their unique, God-granted purpose.💟

Our work has led to outcomes that directly serve our girls, aid their families, and allow us to collaborate with amazing partners where our mission and visions align. 🤝🏾

There’s still time to Secure HER Bag!👜

As we fully step into this year of Abundance, we are exploring what it means to be f̲a̲i̲t̲h̲f̲u̲l̲ & a̲c̲c̲o̲u̲n̲t̲a̲b̲l̲e̲ to our mission, vision, and especially our unforgettable girls. 💁🏾‍♀️

One thing’s for certain & two things for sure, is that our girls value the gifts we bring to the table. 💝

Although we’ve explored the idea of gift giving throughout the year through our programs & partnerships… we’re revisiting it to leave our girls with a physical gift under their Christmas trees this holiday season. 🎄

Our ask is that you DONATE a gently used purse, NOMINATE an unforgettable girl, or VOLUNTEER at one of our drop off locations.

We’ve been so BLESSED this year, it’s only right for us to be a blessing to someone else. 🤝🏾

This Tuesday, November 29th, we invite you to express your generosity and give with an unforgettable girl in mind. 💁🏾‍♀️

As we step into our third year, we are passionate about our girls, our village, and our supportHER’s experiencing ABUNDANCE. 🤝🏾

Our intention this year is to reach and impact MORE families of adopted, fostered, and kinship girls with intentional programming, curated experiences, and purposeful edification. 🫶🏽

Our vision is to be a unique, resource for our girls — because our reservoir is overflowing with a wealth of knowledge, sufficiency, and accountability.

It’s time to Secure HER Bag! 👜

Every year, our team at You Go Girl Leadership Institute runs a purse drive in the spirit of generousity and gift giving. Not only do we desire to give gifts, but we also desire to be the gift in service to our girls! 💜

Be sure to check our website for more details about how you can:

1️⃣ DONATE a gently used purse or handbag.

2️⃣ VOLUNTEER at one of our drop off locations.

3️⃣Be a in this upcoming holiday season & NOMINATE an unforgettable girl to receive a handbag of her own!

Last year we blessed 10+ girls with your generosity. This year our goal is having 50 girls in their own bag 😉

This year we will be running the purse drive from November 18 - December 15 in Atlanta and South Jersey. And our goal is to leave an even greater impact in our girls hearts! 💌

& by rest, we don’t just mean catch up on sleep — we mean taken time away to rejuvenate & revive your spirit!

September is Mental Health Awareness month, and we’re prioritizing our:

🌷How are we to impact the growth of a flower? We engage the soil of its environment. August 17th we gathered with the moms, granddads, friends, and incidental leaders of our next generation to have an open dialogue about the misconceptions and stigmas our unforgotten girls have carried.

💁🏾‍♀️Here at You Go Girl Leadership Institute we recognized that there would be a missed opportunity to solely uplift our unforgettable girls and not educate their villages. Our guests were given the safe space to listen, take inventory, and identify a common misconception or stigma they once have demonstrated and burn it away. 🔥

🎯Our #1 goal is to De-Stigmatize the perceptions placed against girls of adoptive, fostered, and kinship backgrounds. Therefore, our reach must be as far as the people they embrace. So it’s with confidence our unforgettable girls will be advocated for adequately.

We understand the stories your soles tell.

We relate to you. The work we do is designed to cater to you, advocate for you, and create spaces where you feel at home with yourself — and the world around you. 💜
