My Daddy Taught Me That is a year-round youth development, leadership and career-exposure program in Asheville, NC for boys in grades 5-12. MDTMT Jr.

Founded in 2012 by Keynon Lake. Program Director: DeAngelo Collins. serves elementary age boys.

A few weeks ago, I was out and about, and saw this couple ROCKIN Their MDTMT/MSTMT Legends Track shirts.

They could not stop talking about (Trick) Recardo Howard and the amazing job he's doing as they have children on the track team.

Folks!!!! To see our movement spread throughout our communities, teaching and touching so many youth is a true BLESSING.

For those who don't know our Track team is and has been nationally recognized, and is one of the BEST AAU teams in the state.

Shout out to Recardo and his team for a job very well done...

While there's so much negativity going on in the world. There's more positive things that need to be highlighted and shared.

🍦🎉 THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY… ICE CREAM TIME!

Nothing says FRIDAY like a little ice cream and a whole lot of happy kids! 😂🍨

Our students enjoyed a sweet treat, some laughs, and a chance to kick back after putting in the work all week! 💙

And you know kids… the minute somebody says ICE CREAM, everybody comes running! 🤣

It’s the little moments like these that make our program so special. ❤️

FUN FRIDAY with Ms. B’s class! 🎉

Our young creators turned glazed donuts and donut holes into some pretty sweet spiders! 🕷️🍩

A little creativity, a little imagination, and probably a whole lot of temptation not to eat the supplies! 🤣

The kids did an AMAZING job, and we love seeing their personalities shine through activities like this! 💙

The way some of our young athletes are moving on that field, you would think Deion Sanders himself was out there! 🏈💨

But seriously, we love seeing our kids outside, competing, having fun, and showing off their skills!
