Prom is an afterthought if you are in survival mode, that’s why we are going to prom for our annual fundraising event: Brewing Hope! You can expect music, a silent auction, delicious food, dynamic speakers, and endless opportunity to support our mission. Top to bottom, this event is curated by returning citizens FOR and WITH returning citizens.

⛓️‍💥SPONSOR A SOJOURNER⛓️‍💥

Through the nine-month Sojourner Work Experience, returning citizens receive paid on-the-job training, community formation, trauma-resiliency programming, vocational discernment, and Community Health Worker support. From the beginning, Sojourners are surrounded by people committed to honoring who they are as children of God, recognizing the gifts they already possess, and nurturing a sustainable life beyond incarceration.

Through our Sponsor a Sojourner Campaign, individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations can give $1,500 to provide half of the support necessary for one Sojourner’s first three months. Two sponsors, together, will fully support those critical first three months.

A sponsorship will help provide paid a work experience, community building, trauma-resiliency programming, vocational development, and practical resource navigation when Sojourners need it most.

Our goal is to have the first three months of 20 Sojourners fully supported by our community by the end of 2026.

Sponsors will also receive opportunities to share in the journey. You’ll receive handwritten updates from the Sojourner you are sponsoring at different stages of the program and a bag of coffee they roasted, along with opportunities to hear directly from Sojourners about their experiences, progress, and growth.

When someone comes home from prison, they shouldn’t have to rebuild their life alone. With $1,500, you can help make sure they don’t have to.
