Redeemer Anglican Asheville We are an Anglican church in Asheville, Rooted in the historic Christian faith, Rhythmic in spiritual exercise, and Redemptive in practice.

Our desire is to be a church that celebrates our ancient roots while fully embracing our context. This is expressed in our worship expression, often referred to as 'Ancient-Future.' We find the Anglican aesthetic to be a perfect fit for our artistic home. Our worship intends to appeal to all senses--from the subtle smell of incense, to the taste of the wine and bread of the Eucharist meal. Additio

nally, it is participatory. Redeemer does not stage a production each week, but instead, we seek to corporately express our common prayer. We exist as a community, dependent on our God and one another.! Contact us for more info.

Happy Feast of the Transfiguration!

On this day, we remember Christ’s transformation on top of a mountain in Galilee, revealing His divine nature to Peter, James, and John. God speaks: “this is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.”

“O God, who on the holy mount revealed to chosen witnesses your well-beloved Son, wonderfully transfigured, in raiment white and glistening: Mercifully grant that we, being delivered from the disquietude of this world, may by faith behold the King in his beauty; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Thank you to everyone who joined us for St. Aidan’s this month, but most especially to our Children’s Ministry volunteers who showed up every Wednesday night for these last 5 weeks!! So grateful for these folks teaching our kids about the fruits of the Spirit through songs, crafts, stories, and play!
