You have all seen the sharp edges along the base paths, home plate and foul line warning tracks. They stay that way by being edged periodically. The outfield warning track gets edged less frequently. As a result, the grass makes its way towards the fence, an inch at a time.
So today we "restored" the outfield warning track. We trimmed off a couple of feet!
Our helpers today were Paul, William, Bentley, Carter, Chris, and Steve.
Next week the warning track will get leveled / groomed and a layer of top dressing applied.

If you were wondering about damage at the ballfield / Legion: Bent over fence in center field, missing trash cans, large branches in picnic area, blown over signs, maple tree trash, a few ripped up outfield signs, ... Not much!
