Thank you 's Innovations Center for once again hosting us at their Pets on the Patio. Their employees came down during their lunch breaks to meet some adoptable animals and get a lot of snuggles. A good time was had by all and one of our black kittens received an application after really turning on the charm. Thank you for your continued support over the years!!

Some recent Kitten Adoptions…. some today and some last week.
Leo and Clem got adopted together.
Princess Peach and Professor Plum got adopted together.
Berry went home last week but we forgot to get his pic.
And the best one of all is Britt and Petunia, who went home together and have been waiting almost a year for their adoption.
No worries to anyone looking to adopt a kitten. We have 40 more kittens looking for their new homes.

Buoy needs your help!

This sweet boy had to be rushed to Blue Pearl (emergency vet) on Friday late afternoon and had to have surgery to remove his eye. The surgery cost $1,755 which doesn’t include his vet visit earlier in the afternoon. If you, our amazing supporters, could help with his medical costs it would be greatly appreciated.

Let me first tell you a little about Buoy (Boo-ee). Buoy came to Saving Paws in May ‘25 due to allergies in the family. During the past year he’s come a long way from the very shy and scared kitty he was and now if you have a lap he will lay down to get some love as long as you go slow. Unfortunately he developed an upper respiratory infection (eye discharge) and despite multiple trips to the vet and different medications his eye continued to get worse. We noticed that he was extremely agitated on Friday so took him back to our vet. They determined that he needed his eye removed right away because it was close to rupturing. Since it was Friday afternoon the vet office couldn’t do the surgery so wanted to send him to Blue Pearl for the surgery. It was our only option because we didn’t want him to suffer in pain. He had the surgery and did well overnight so was able to come back to the rescue Saturday morning. He still needs medications for pain and infection but is getting lots of love and attention by our volunteers. Please keep Buoy in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers.

Huge shoutout to the group from Zebra Technologies who came to our rescue earlier in the week to volunteer their time. They've come out multiple times this year and always get a lot done around the rescue while also having fun. Groups like these allow our regular volunteers time to focus on the animal care instead of all the many other projects that are needed. Thank you so much for your continued support!!
