💬 Some of the strongest connections in family child care start with a simple conversation.

Over time, those conversations can become relationships where providers exchange ideas, celebrate successes, and support one another through challenges. 🤝

Those relationships strengthen not only individual providers, but the family child care community as a whole.

💚 One of the best parts of the WFCCA Conference? Being surrounded by people who understand the work you do.

Whether you’re sharing an idea over lunch, swapping stories between sessions, or making a connection that continues long after the conference, there’s value in spending time with people who get it.

"You don’t have to come with a group to feel like you belong."

💜 Child Care Makes Work Possible

Family child care plays a role in supporting working families and local economies. 💼

When child care is available, parents are able to work, attend school, and maintain employment with greater stability.

🔑 Child care access is part of what makes workforce participation possible for many families.

📣 Some of WFCCA’s advocacy work happens where members may never see it.

WFCCA stays engaged with policy and legislative issues affecting family child care, brings provider perspectives into those conversations, and helps keep members informed about issues that matter to their work.

Making sure family child care is represented in conversations that affect the profession is an important part of WFCCA’s work. 🗣️

🎉 WFCCA IS OFFICIALLY A NAFCC AFFILIATE! 💙

It’s official! The Wisconsin Family Child Care Association is now an affiliate of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC)!

This has been in the works for a while, and we’re excited to see it become a reality! A big THANK YOU to Michelle Endvick, our NAFCC State Representative, for all her hard work in making this happen. We appreciate your dedication to strengthening connections within the family child care community! ❤️

This affiliation strengthens WFCCA’s connection to the national family child care community and creates more opportunities for collaboration, shared advocacy, and support for providers.

We’re proud to be part of this growing network!
