Flock cameras are becoming a major privacy concern in communities across America. These license-plate-reading camera systems may be marketed as crime-fighting tools, but residents deserve clear answers about who can access the data, how long it is stored, and whether it can be shared outside our community.

Senator Josh Hawley says he is investigating Flock cameras to determine who has access to Americans’ data and what is being done with it. That conversation is overdue.
Public safety matters—but so do constitutional rights, personal privacy, and accountability. No one should feel like their daily commute, school drop-off, church attendance, or visit to a friend is being permanently tracked without meaningful oversight.

What do you think? Should local governments and law enforcement be required to publicly disclose how Flock camera data is used, shared, and retained before expanding these systems?

The Winneconne school-board recall effort is about more than two elected officials—it is also being used to attack parents who want a voice in their children’s education.

Recall petitions are currently circulating against Board members Kati Calewarts and Dean Ackmann, with organizers working toward a possible November election.

So what does Moms for Liberty actually stand for? It is a parent-led organization focused on parental rights, transparency, accountability, and the belief that parents—not bureaucrats, political activists, or outside organizations—should have the primary role in directing their children’s education. Its stated principles emphasize empowering and educating parents to defend those rights at every level of government.

You do not have to agree on every school issue to agree that parents deserve to be informed, heard, and respected. Winneconne families should look past the labels, learn the facts, and pay close attention to who is trying to silence community voices.

Winneconne parents need to pay attention to the current school board recall effort.

These board members were elected by the people of our community to represent us. You may not agree with every decision they make, but they deserve the chance to do the job voters elected them to do.

Recall efforts take focus away from what matters most: our students, teachers, school safety, academics, and responsible spending of our tax dollars.
Parents should learn the facts, attend meetings, and make their voices heard. If you supported these elected board members, now is the time to stand with them.

Support the people Winneconne voters chose. Support stability in our schools.
