The American Legion Post 38 is guided by the Legion's Four Pillars of Service: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. The Appleton American Legion Family consists of American Legion Post No. 38, Auxiliary Unit No. 38, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron No. 38, and the American Legion Riders. The National American Legion organization itself wa

s chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

Our next Post 38 meeting will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Please consider joining us for a pre-meeting meal of Hot Dogs and Chips.
The meal takes place from 5:30-6:20pm. Our meeting will commence at 6:30pm.

There is a lot of information that will be discussed at this meeting, so please consider attending that you may be in the know.

Today, Post 38 Bar & Grill is serving up our tasty beef or chicken tacos for only $2.00 each. We will be serving from 11:00-7:00pm.

These are the real deal! No meat by-products here, just plain ,simply good ingredients making for a deliciously fresh taco!

We will also have available our take and bake, 2-topping pizza for only $10.00.
