By “regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin,” power was granted to Congress to create what James Madison explained was “uniformity in the value” of both domestic and foreign coin. The founders sought to prevent disputes about the value of domestic and foreign coinage among the states, and by the states with foreign nations, so they gave power to Congress to keep this from occurring.

The Constitution lists no grant of power to Congress to print paper money or emit “bills of credit,” the term for paper money in common use at the time. And if no such power was granted, Congress has no authority to engage in the process, or to delegate it to any central bank including the Federal Reserve.

"Less government and more responsibility. I mean less government of every kind, federal, state, or municipal; and more true responsibility, not only on the part of individuals but on the part of such reduced governmental units as are necessarily permitted to exist. But of course I mean, primarily, less federal government, because that is where our greatest danger lies; and more individual responsibility, because that is our greatest need."

According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO):

"Sustainable development is the overarching paradigm of the United Nations. The concept of sustainable development was described by the 1987 Brundtland Commission Report as 'development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.'"

The definition of “sustainable development” may not sound all that bad, until you delve further to uncover the individuals behind it. The Brundtland Commission was named after its chairwoman, Gro Harlem Brundtland, who at the time was beginning her tenure as vice president of the Socialist International (1986 to 1999). Using the framework provided by her commission, the United Nations seeks to implement in your local town or city its collectivist and globalist (i.e., pro-one-world government) Agenda 2030.

A democracy is majority rule and destroys liberty because there is no law to prevent the majority from trampling on individual rights. Whatever the majority says, goes. A lynch mob is a good example of pure democracy in action. There is only one dissenting vote, and that is cast by the person at the end of the rope.

But a republic is a government of law under a constitution. The constitution holds the government in check and prevents the majority (acting through their government) from violating the rights of the individual. Under this system of government, a lynch mob is illegal. The suspected criminal cannot be denied his right to a fair trial even if the majority of the citizenry demands otherwise.

We will either be governed by laws or ruled by humans. Because of human nature, rule by men has always ended in tyranny. Only under a government of laws will secure our God-given rights.

"With enough room, we might put together a hundred case histories on what life under Communism is like, after a Communist regime has finished consolidating its power and things have shaken down to 'normal.' Every picture would be the same: a composite of hunger, squalor, shoddiness, suffering, and degradation; an existence lived out from day to day under a constant and gnawing fear, in a gigantic prison where the very concept of freedom is forgotten, amid only grief for the past and hopelessness for the future."

- Robert Welch

How Can You Stop the War on Farmers?

Contact your state and local officials, urging them to protect farmers and ranchers, including 1) enacting legislation similar to Missouri’s proposed “Freedom to Farm Act” or Wyoming’s enacted “Food Freedom Act,” 2) nullifying unconstitutional federal agricultural regulations, 3) protecting property rights, including from carbon-capture pipelines or eminent domain, and 4) enacting legislation preventing foreigners and out-of-state elites from purchasing vast amounts of farmland.
