DRIVE SMART Maryland Drive Smart Maryland is a program of traffic safety non-profit Drive Smart Virginia.

Drive Smart Virginia’s mission is to raise traffic safety awareness among all road users in order to save lives and reduce injuries on the roadways.

At a recent Safety Town event Chrissy Nizer, Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Administrator and Gov. Moore's Highway Safety Representative, and other MDOT staff were able to join us to see what it's all about. Safety Town is funded by the Maryland Highway Safety Office. We're so excited to be a part of this event from the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Baltimore!

Featuring classic cars and cool vehicles, a full roller-skating rink, rock wall, and inflatables! Plus...
o Strolling entertainment including bubble artists, balloon twisting, characters, and more!
o Live entertainment on stage - music and dance, featuring Alex and the Kaleidoscope.
o Take a stroll with LifeBridge Health providers and partners on their “Boardwalk to Better
Health” for fun interactive games and prizes.
o Enjoy delicious food, snow cones, plus peruse the services and wares of local vendors for gifts, jewelry and more!

We had so much fun getting to spend the day with kiddos on Tuesday to introduce them to Safety Town!

Equipment is tested and we are ready to hit the road. Officially kicking off the spring season of our Young Drivers Program and heading back to school tomorrow! We couldn't do it without the support of our friends at / MileOne Autogroup and funding through their program.
