International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples 🧡

The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence honors Indigenous communities, cultures, traditions, and leadership while recognizing the ongoing work toward justice, equity, healing, and safety for Indigenous peoples.

We recognize the importance of uplifting Indigenous survivors and addressing the disproportionate impact of violence experienced by Indigenous communities, including Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Relatives (MMIWG2S+).

Today and every day, we stand in support of Indigenous voices, advocacy, and community-led healing.
