In celebration of Women’s History Month, we honor Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis, who has served as President of the Community College of Baltimore County since 2005. Guided by her belief that “Every One Of Us Counts,” her leadership has helped expand opportunity for countless students.
One of her most impactful achievements is championing a tuition-free program that allows students to attend college at no cost—opening doors to brighter futures. Her dedication to education continues to inspire.

Maryland's community colleges measure up! 🎯 Use of a new outcome metric, designed for community colleges, shows what we knew all along — community colleges make impactful contributions to students, communities and state/local government.
