Hi everyone! I'm Melanie, the new Community Coordinator for the Glen Burnie chapter of Healthy Kids Running Series.

I'm a mom of two, a former elementary P.E. teacher, health coach, and someone who is deeply passionate about helping kids build confidence through movement. Running has been a huge part of my life, and I'm excited to help create a fun, encouraging environment where kids of all abilities can discover what they're capable of.

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to move, play, and develop a lifelong love of being active, and I can't wait to meet all of the amazing families in our community!

Registration information for our upcoming fall season will be coming soon, so stay tuned. We have some exciting things in the works, and I can't wait to get started!

Greater Annapolis, MD program will be returning for the Fall 2026 season under the name Glen Burnie, MD.

❤️Same fun, same race experience...just a new name to better reflect our community!
