The event, held bi-annually, provides an opportunity to distribute clothes and shoes to impoverished women and children from the surrounding countryside. The purpose and desire of Soles for Christ is to move forward with the same love and commitment of sending new or like new footwear to the impoverished women and children of El Salvador through the local church body there, Iglesia de Jesucristo Columna de Amor.
