This past week, a few of the newer SEND north team members visited Tanalian Bible Camp in Port Alsworth, AK for a time of fellowship and northern ministry training. Throughout the week, they participated in classes like “How People Grow” taught by SEND North’s director, Jim Stamberg, and “Worldview” by TBC and SEND’s Christy Zimmerman. They participated in team building activities hosted by Trevor McGee and Nate Carlow, alongside TBC’s summer interns. It was an encouraging and informative weekend for all!

We are excited to have Parker and Alison Smith joining SEND North's village ministry in Southwest Alaska. Alison has had a passion for Alaska since 2nd grade and Parker has long felt called to discipling and teaching.

Please be praying for the Smiths as they go through the moving and support raising process. Pray that the Lord will provide solid community and opportunities to share the Gospel in the southwest.

The countdown begins! We are officially 1 month away from our Aim for Hope fundraiser that directly supports the SEND North Aviation ministry.
SEND North airplanes currently support a couple dozen missionary families scattered across Alaska and Northern Canada, and these same airplanes help fly kids to Bible camp each summer. In Alaska, aviation is a primary tool to create access to the Gospel for those who are isolated from the body of Christ.

We are excited to have Clara Eck joining SEND North's Project Caribou village ministry in Dillingham. Clara has volunteered in Port Alsworth, AK for two summers at Tanalian Bible Camp.

Please be praying for Clara as she continues support raising and makes the move to Alaska. Pray the Lord will provide bountifully in finances and opportunities in Dillingham and that her move to Alaska will be smooth.

Aim for Hope is a competitive sporting clay fundraising event hosted at Birchwood Shooting Park in Chugiak, AK. The event will feature 100 competitive sporting clays, ammo, awards, raffles, lunch, and fellowship.

Your participation directly supports SEND North’s Aviation Fund which allows missionaries the opportunity to share Christ where there are no access by roads, no churches and little access to biblical community.
