Are you on track with recommended vaccines and immunizations? Immunizations boost the immune system to protect children and adults from potentially life-threatening diseases.

In rural communities across Alaska, healthcare is not just about proximity, it is about dedication. As the sole community health aide in Tyonek, Robert Stephan provides a wide range of care every day from routine labs and X-rays to immediate triage, ensuring his community's health needs are met with compassion and skill.

For National Health Center Week, join us in thanking Robert and the entire rural health network for proving that distance is no barrier to high-quality healthcare!

For Day Six of National Health Center Week, we want to thank our community partners for their tireless hard work on behalf of the patients and community we serve together. It's a unique world here in Alaska, and we couldn't care for our patients half as well without all of you!

As National Health Center Week comes to a close, we're reflecting on the incredible week we shared with our staff, patients, partners, and community.

This year's theme, Innovation, reminds us that some of the most meaningful innovation in health care isn't just about new technology—it's about creating stronger partnerships, improving access to care, and supporting the whole person.

Throughout the week, we welcomed our community into ANHC, celebrated the organizations working alongside us, and highlighted how collaboration helps build a healthier Anchorage.

In a new reflection, ANHC CEO Lisa Aquino shares her vision for the future of health care in Alaska and why community health centers have an important role to play in creating a more connected, people-centered health care system.

We hope you'll take a few minutes to read her perspective.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's National Health Center Week so meaningful. Together, we're building a healthier Alaska. 💙
