Pioneer Peak Elementary JA in a Day is right around the corner. We need parent/community volunteers to teach simple lessons to students. *Special thanks to Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union and State Farm for signing up your teams to join us at Pioneer Peak. We need 11 more volunteers to make this event a success. Training is provided! The following classes still need a volunteer:

More pics from our JA Job shadow event with Disney Cruise Line Crew & Community in Ketchikan, Alaska! Students were able to attend a career panel discussion where they learned about different career paths available on a Cruise ship, do a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the restaurants, lounges, gym, and yes even a meet and greet with the big mouse himself- Mickey Mouse! Junior Achievement of Alaska is thrilled to bring immersive learning experiences to communities through Alaska to 21,000 students annually.

Junior Achievement of Alaska is looking for **4 more amazing volunteers** to join us at **Weller Elementary on Friday, October 16th**, for JA in a Day! 🍎📚

We’re looking for community members who are willing to spend a few hours in the classroom bringing lessons in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to life for students.

💛 **No teaching experience is required!** We provide the materials and support you need. All you need is a willingness to share your time, experiences, and a little inspiration with the next generation!

✨ A few hours of your time can make a lasting impact on a student's future.
