The Anchorage Opera is searching for its next company leader, an Executive Director. Applicants and referrals are currently being accepted.
Ben Robinson has led the company for 3 years as General Director, and has recently been named General Director & CEO of the Kentucky Opera! With much congratulations we wish him the best, and look forward to a continued relationship supporting the Anchorage Opera as an artistic advisor.
Selecting an Executive Director will allow the organization to redouble efforts on administrative efficiency and progress toward defined strategic goals. A successful candidate need not be an expert in the field of opera, however should bring an appropriate level of enthusiasm and appreciation for one of the grandest performing arts worldwide.
“The Anchorage Opera is a long-standing Anchorage institution with over 64 years of history and artistic leadership,” says Chair of the Board of Trustees, Kathleen McArdle. “Our audience and robust community of donor support is passionate about maintaining high-quality local opera, and the trustees are motivated to ensure the next leader expresses commensurate dedication to organization success.”
