This new initiative from thread supports Alaskans who want to create and license child care programs—including those based in their own homes.

Eligible participants may receive:

✨ Up to $1,000 to help cover required inspections, training, background checks, and safety materials.

With support from the State of Alaska Department of Health, the Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five (PDG B-5), and ConocoPhillips, Business of Caring is helping expand access to quality child care across Alaska.
