Many thanks to Ann Chandonnet for contributions to the field of journalism in Alaska.

"Longtime Alaska reporter, poet, writer and author Ann Chandonnet died May 23. She reported for the Anchorage Times, the Juneau Empire and Alaska Woman magazine. She was also publicist for Alaska Northwest Books. Ann was also a lifelong poet and book author.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Doctors Without Borders, the Southern Poverty Law Center or a charity of your choice."
