You’ll see us throughout the Spring at different events to share seeds, like the Midtown Mall Garden Show—so keep an eye out!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... almost! Join us with Yarducopia and Alaska Botanical Garden for our Annual Seed and Garden Exchange Sunday, March 22nd from 12-3pm!

Save the Date! Anchor Gardens, Yarducopia and Alaska Botanical Gardens are teaming up again for the Annual Seed and Garden Exchange Sunday, March 22nd from 12-3pm at ABG.
Workshops, garden swap and of course thousands of seeds will be available including a fire and potluck. We will have chili and hot cacao available and encourage folks to bring something yummy to share!

We loved partnering with Mutual Aid Network of Anchorage - MANA this weekend at their Community Free Store to offer our seed exchange. They also shared food, hosted a sewing circle and training on privacy protection on digital devices.

This giving season, visit the Light the World Giving Machine Anchorage and give to Anchor Gardens! Our "Seed Packets" option is included in the Giving Machine!

The Giving Machine will be open through December 31 at the Midtown Mall. If you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time to be part of this meaningful giving experience. 💛

Through our fiscal sponsor, NeighborWorks Alaska, we're excited to take part in the Light the World Giving Machine Anchorage! While you're out and about this holiday season, you can choose to make a donation through the Giving Machines at the Midtown Mall starting this Friday! One option will be to support Anchor Gardens' seed distributions this Spring.

Visit the Giving Machine at the Midtown Mall from December 12-31st and choose a gift that will make a difference.

🥬🌶 Most of our gardens are put to bed, so we brought together our super volunteers and partners to THANK everyone for an amazing season! Vanessa kicked things off and Theresa shared highlights from throughout the year.

We were so proud to feature Julie Graham-Greene with our garden partnership at In Our Backyard, and Duke Russell shared more of his efforts to feed our community. More local vegetables in soups to come! Our theme really was showing how each and every Anchor Gardener--that's you!--builds food security one garden at a time. 🥕🥦
