The school year is wrapping up and that means our local elementary schools are busy with end-of the year activities. A number of our local schools are seeking volunteers to help out at field days. Volunteers must register through the Anchorage School District Raptor portal. Because of Credit Union 1’s incredible generosity, students at William Tyson Elementary were able to fully embrace winter and enjoy the great outdoors! Their donation of snow pants, base layers, socks, hats, and mittens ensured that every child who wanted to participate in outdoor activities could do so — warmly, safely, and confidently. ❄️🧤

With proper winter gear available, students were able to sled, play, and explore the snow hill behind their school, creating joyful memories and meaningful learning experiences.
