The Tuesday after Thanksgiving—December 2—is Giving Tuesday. We hope you will remember Helping Hand for Nepal as you give out your donation dollars. 100% of each dollar goes directly to one of our humanitarian projects in Nepal. We pay no salaries or overhead. This year we are focusing on scholarships for village children to attend their local school, and medical equipment for the new Kathmandu Institute of Children’s Health (KIOCH).
Credit card donations may be made on our secure site www.hhnepal.org. Checks made out to Helping Hand for Nepal may be mailed to HHN, 2930 Brittany Drive, Anchorage, AK 99504. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. #92-0175716

Friday October 11 is International Day of the Girl.
I love this quote from Confuscious. It is even more meaningful in relation to girls, the underserved population in Nepal regarding education. You can help celebrate girls this Friday by donating to the Helping Hand for Nepal Education Endowment. 75% of scholarships are awarded to girls. We can keep a girl in her village school who would not be able to attend otherwise for as little as $25/year. Your donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law. 92-0175716

Tonight at Rotary Club of Kantipur special meeting and fellowship.🙏🏻
California Rotarians present about new way to detect cervical cancer. They have a project to implement this test in Nepal.
And receiving 25 year RCK (and HHN!) recognition.
