We honor the memory of former NTEU member Vernon Hunter, who was killed 16 years ago in a su***de plane attack on an IRS building in Austin, Texas. We remember those injured and the heroic IRS employees who helped rescue their colleagues on that tragic day.

You’re invited to participate in a Federal Worker Shutdown Impact Roundtable, featuring Congressmen Hoyer and Ivey, on Thursday, October 23, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., alongside furloughed federal workers.

We would greatly appreciate the presence of union leadership and at least two members who have been directly affected by the shutdown. Your participation will help elevate the voices and experiences of impacted workers and inform next steps. Details are below:

What: Congressman Hoyer and Congressman Ivey invite you to a discussion with federal workers, union leaders, and community partners on immediate impacts, resources, and next steps.
