This week provided an opportunity to celebrate military leadership, service, and tradition across two special events in the Washington, D.C., area.

MOAA President and CEO Brian T. Kelly and his wife, Garrety Kelly, attended the Air & Space Forces Association's H.H. Arnold Award presentation honoring Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., USAF (Ret). Congratulations to Gen Brown on this well-deserved recognition.

They were also joined by members of the MOAA team at the U.S. Army Twilight Tattoo following an invitation from Lieutenant General Johnny Davis, Commanding General, US Army Recruiting Command and his team. An incredible evening celebrating Army history, military service, and the traditions that connect generations of soldiers.

Thank you to all who continue to serve and strengthen our military community.

We're proud to welcome USAA back to TotalForce+ as a 2027 Platinum Sponsor.

From the moment a service member raises their right hand, USAA is there — and they stay there, through every transition, milestone, and challenge a military life brings.

In 2025, USAA launched Honor Through Action, a bold national movement – backed with a $500 million commitment over five years to support the military community and advocate for policy change that will transform the lives of military families across key focus areas:

- Meaningful Careers
- Financial Security
- Well Being

Their continued investment in this community mirrors exactly what TotalForce+ exists to advance. Investing in the people who defend our nation.

We're grateful to have them at the table in 2027.

MOAA was honored to support and attend the 2026 Warrior Games and the remarkable athletes, families, caregivers, coaches, and volunteers who make this event possible.

MOAA Vice President of TotalForce+, Leslie Janaros, was joined by MOAA Alamo Chapter members Kathryn "Kitty" Meyers and Judy Dienst as they cheered on athletes and connected with members of the military community throughout the weekend.

The Warrior Games are a powerful reminder of the strength, determination, and camaraderie that unite the military community. The weekend also included a pretty cool encounter with Prince Harry, whose support of the Invictus Games has helped shine a spotlight on the power of adaptive sports and the warrior spirit.
