Armin Sarajlija is a P4 at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. He serves as president of the SLC and represents Region 7.

Armin’s interest in pharmacy started at age 16, when he began working at a local pharmacy and quickly developed a passion for serving his community. As president of the SLC, Armin is passionate about getting students involved in advocacy and working towards further PBM reforms, improving medication affordability, and expanding access to pharmacy services.

✨ Meet Your Team: Michael Rule

Michael, who joined NCPA in 2011, serves as director of grassroots and external affairs. With an interest in politics and advocacy dating back to high school, he gained experience working on political campaigns and with public affairs firms before bringing his expertise to independent community pharmacy.

Today, Michael helps NCPA members make their voices heard by government officials — from grassroots campaigns and pharmacy visits with legislators to our annual Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In meetings. He also builds relationships with allied organizations to help amplify community pharmacy’s message to policymakers.

👫🏖️ Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and son, John Paul, including summer trips to Ocean City, Md., and is active in the Knights of Columbus.
