Inside a small tent, getting through unpredictable weather is a daily challenge. Winter rain soaks blankets, and summer winds blow dust into family meals.

Across Gaza, shelter needs are severe. Through our Gaza Integrated Community Shelter Program, IDEA has distributed 1,262 tents to families in Gaza.

Alongside shelter, the program has delivered 1,800 fresh produce baskets, twice weekly hot meals for 8,500 people, and 11,000 gallons of clean water every day for more than 8,400 people.

When home has been lost multiple times, a dry, protected space is the first step toward restoring stability.

Across agricultural valleys, rural women are running solar water pumps, testing drought-resilient crops, and building community irrigation networks, putting sustainable solutions to work for their communities.

Today, and every day, we celebrate rural women everywhere. 🤍

When local markets struggle and farmland is out of reach, daily food security depends on emergency supply lines.

Right now in Gaza, securing a single family meal takes coordinated logistics. Over the last three years, IDEA has funded more than 4.2 million food interventions, working alongside local partners to deliver hot family meals, fresh produce baskets, and essential food parcels directly to displaced communities. Through our partnership with the World Food Programme, we are expanding that support even further.

Emergency food is what keeps families going each day.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mohamed Mahmoud, 27, a valued former member of our team.

Mohamed was an extraordinary young man who dedicated his life to learning, teaching, and serving his community. He was a natural leader, beloved by many around him. He will be remembered by those close to him and the many people he helped throughout his life.

May Allah forgive him, shower him with His mercy, and grant him the highest levels of paradise.

We’ll be honoring his memory by building a water well as a long-term act of continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah). For those who would like to donate to this initiative in his name, we’ll share details at a later time.

For a family caring for a loved one, knowing help is there can make all the difference.

In Gaza and the West Bank, children need specialized treatment, mothers need safe care, and patients recovering from illness or injury need support after they leave the emergency room.

Through the help of trusted partners, your support helps equip hospitals and give medical teams the resources to keep saving lives.
