Did you know that volunteers dedicated over 1,500 hours to Spitfire’s mission last year?

As a team of two, we can say with confidence that **our work would not be possible** without this amazing team of volunteers alongside us!

We had so much fun last night at ALX Community celebrating a fantastic year of programming with the amazing volunteers who make it happen. A huge thank you to our mentors, to our camp and event volunteers, to our office and administrative volunteers, and to our leaders for your time, your brilliance, and your dedication to our girls!

We did it! YOU did it!

We are so excited that we set two new personal S2A records tonight: the most money we’ve ever raised and the most donors we’ve ever engaged!

This was tremendous team effort. A huge thank you to our eight fundraiser hosts, and to our matching gift hosts, for being champions for our girls! We couldn’t have done this without you!!!

Two of these events under our belt and we’re struggling with the silent reading part… 🤭 but we do continue to excel at fantastic conversations and enjoying delicious food and beverages!

Spitfire Club is celebrating a really big milestone — since we began in 2018, our Spitfires have read over 100,000 books!

We’re technically a reading organization, but here’s some Spitfire math: we have read with 608 unique children, which means that 🔥🔥🔥the average Spitfire has read 165 books with us!🔥🔥🔥

We’re so proud we get to build this beautiful community around a shared love of reading 🥰

Now … onward to 200,000!!!
