Vacations are wrapping up, backpacks are coming out, and a new school year is here! 🎒

At Casa, we're getting ready for a new season, too. After Labor Day, our programs will be back in full swing, with new opportunities for our students and families. But before we officially say goodbye to summer, there's one last thing.

TODAY is the final day of the Summer Challenge!

Thanks to the generosity of this community, we've raised 25% of our $100,000 goal to help sustain Casa's mentorship, education, and relational support for children and families.

We're grateful for everyone who has given, shared our stories, invited a friend, or cheered us on along the way.

But summer isn’t over just yet. Let’s finish strong!

What makes a community feel like family?

Sometimes, you don't know until life takes an unexpected turn.

Last summer, Ivania was leaving Casa Chirilagua with her young daughter. In an instant, everything changed. A car struck them both.

Our team at Casa Chirilagua didn't leave. They stayed by their side at the scene, at the hospital, and throughout the long hours that followed. In one of the hardest moments of her life, she wasn’t alone.

“I felt like it was my own family there with me.”

At Casa Chirilagua, we mentor students, support parents, and provide educational opportunities. But underneath all of those programs is something even more important.

From the joy Mr. Bee brought to Kids Club to the energy and love shared by our InterVarsity volunteers, Summer of Wonders was filled with laughter, connection, and meaningful moments.

For our Teens Club and Casa 2 Career students, spiritual guidance and field trips opened their minds to new places, new possibilities, and bigger dreams for the future. What a summer to remember! ✨
